Nutrition Support for Autoimmune Conditions

Autoimmune conditions bring inflammation, fatigue and often a long list of food rules from the internet. We help you sort evidence from hype and build an eating pattern that supports your treatment.

Autoimmune Conditions nutrition counseling

Is this for you?

  • You live with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, MS, vitiligo or Hashimoto’s
  • You are tired, achy or have frequent flares
  • You have read about elimination diets and want safe guidance

How our dietitians help

Anti-inflammatory eating

A Mediterranean-style pattern rich in plants, fish and olive oil has the best research behind it.

Safe elimination trials

If we test removing a food, we do it briefly and reintroduce it in a structured way.

Medication side effects

Steroids and other medications can affect weight, blood sugar and bones. We plan for that.

What to expect

  1. First visit: your dietitian reviews your health history, labs, medications and eating habits, then you set 2–3 goals together.
  2. Your plan: a personalized plan with meal ideas, recipes and tools, shared in your Healthie portal.
  3. Follow-ups: regular check-ins, usually every week or every other week at first, to track progress and adjust.

Visits are in person in Suwanee or Lawrenceville, GA, or by secure video in 25 states. More about visits.

Check your insurance in 10 seconds

Autoimmune Conditions: common questions

Is there an autoimmune diet that works for everyone?

No single diet works for everyone. Research supports Mediterranean-style eating for inflammation. Strict protocols should be short and supervised.

Can nutrition reduce flares?

Many people report fewer or milder symptoms with better nutrition, sleep and stress habits. Nutrition supports, but does not replace, your medical treatment.
